I have found this request late, but this cake is easy and can be used for many occasions. Bake a 2 layer cake of your choice, either from scratch or from a box. Put half in a 9 inch rounc cake pan and the other half of the cake mix into a 9 by 9 square baking pan. (Don't forget to prepare the pans with grease/flour or cooking spray.) Bake according to directions and cool on wire racks. Now get out a large cake platter. Place the round layer on the platter and cut it in half. Separate the 2 halves and place along the top of the platter. Now turn out the square cake layer so that the pints are toward the top and bottom of the platter. Line up the 2 round halves to form the curved top of the hart so that the point of the square is at the bottom. Now frost the hart with your favorite frosting. You can decorate with sprinkles.
