of pictures and I can't figure out how to do the signing up for the

Paula this doesn't apply to exactly what your question was. First, what
can you read Kindle books with?
I get thousands of messages from food.about.com. That gives you many
cuisines or very educational news letters that you can sign up for. There
are only about 1 or 2 messages a week. For instance, Busy Cooks or Crock
pot recipes. I select the recipes and store and format them in Duxbury.
Word would be fine to use to store the recipes in. I have about 43
categories of all my different types of recipes stored. I believe I have
about 650 recipes categorized and ready to access.
Just thought I would give you this reference.

I have the Kindle app on both my computer and my iPhone, and would
like to buy some cookbooks. The problem is, since the books are in a
proprietary format, I have no way to transfer them to my notetaker, so I
can read them in braille. When it comes to step-by-step instructions, such
as recipes, I'm better off with braille, rather than audio. Has anyone
figured out a workaround for getting recipes from Kindle books?
Since this is a technical question, it might be better to answer me
directly, so as not to clutter the list.
