I should have posted the entire directions, which was taken from one of my
favorite frozen pie brands.

Keep frozen. To Serve Entire Pie: Room Temperature: Remove plastic wrap from
pie. Thaw pie at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours. Refrigerator: Thaw pie
in refrigerator overnight. Remove plastic wrap from pie and serve. Oven:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove plastic wrap from pie. Cover cookie
sheet
with aluminum foil and place frozen pie on cookie sheet on center oven rack.
Bake pie for 15 to 20 minutes or until warm. Quick Serve by the Slice:
Remove
plastic wrap from pie. Using a knife that has been moistened in warm water
cut slice from pie. Thaw slice at room temperature for 20 to 25 minutes or
in
refrigerator for 30 to 35 minutes. Marie's Serving Tips: To slice pie after
thawing, use a knife that has been moistened with warm water. Serve pie with
a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. For an even more decadent
treat, drizzle chocolate syrup over thawed pie and serve. Do not microwave,
keep frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze if completely thawed. Please
refrigerate unused portion for up to 3 days.
