Mexican Tea Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
With an electric mixer on medium speed, blend together butter and powdered
sugar; add vanilla, 1 tablespoon water and flour. Stir in pecans. Shape
dough into 1 inch balls. Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 300
degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. When cool, roll in additional
powdered sugar.
Makes about 40 cookies.
