20 MINUTE CHILI
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 (30 oz.) can Hunt's chili
beans (and all liquid)
1/4 c. catsup
Use a large fry pan with a lid so all ingredients can
simmer in it. Brown ground beef and onion; drain well. Add
tomatoes, chili powder and salt; simmer 10 minutes. Add chili
beans with all the liquid. Add catsup; simmer another 10
minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve.
Note: One-quart home canned tomatoes may be substituted. When
either tomato
is added, use a potato masher, if they
are too firm.
