Golfer's Stew 1 pound stew meat, cubed
1 (12 ounce) jar beef gravy or beef and mushroom gravy 6 medium potatoes, cut in 1 inch chunks 6 carrots, cut in thick slices 3 ribs celery, cut in thick slices, optional 2 to 3 onions, cut in wedges Place all ingredients in 4 quart slow cooker. Stir together gently. Cover; cook on high for 1 hour, and then on low for 6 hours. Variation: Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper when combining all ingredients. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
