I add seasoning to mine. Along with the onion, I add some minced garlic to the meat. I also salt and pepper the mashed potatoes well and add celery seed or coriander or parsley to the cream soup. Try that and it should be scrumptious. I also add peas and carrots. One can should do it. *smile* Regina Marie
