Tried and True. It means a blind person has used this particular recipe and had
it work, so there are no major problems for us to use it. It's not a guarantee,
as what someone can do with macular degeneration or RP is different from
someone who's totally blind, but it's helpful.

What does the TnT mean that I see in some of the recipe titles these days?

T&T, FAST FIXIN' DOUBLE PINEAPPLE CAKE

1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe II Pineapple Supreme Cake Mix

1/4 c. oil

2 eggs

1/2 c. water

1 can (20-23 oz.) pineapple pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour oil into a 13x9x2 inch pan; tilt pan to
cover bottom.

Put cake mix, eggs and water into pan; stir with a fork or spoon until
blended (about

2 minutes). Scrape sides, spread batter evenly in pan. Spoon pie filling
onto batter;

use a fork to fold into batter just enough to create a marbled effect. Bake
for 35-45

minutes until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cooled cake
may be

sprinkled with powdered sugar. Use a knife to loosen cake from sides; cut
and serve

directly from pan. Store cake loosely covered. Makes 16-20 servings.

Cherry or strawberry pie filling may be substituted. Enjoy. Marilyn
