Applesauce Walnut Cake | Duncan Hines®


This Applesauce Walnut Cake recipe is a traditional favorite made with
Duncan Hines® Butter Golden Cake Mix and chopped walnuts. Give this cake

Ingredients

·         1 package Duncan Hines®

·         3 eggs

·         1⅓ cups applesauce

·         ½ cup butter or margarine, melted

·         1 tsp. ground cinnamon

·         ½ cup chopped walnuts

·         Confectioner's sugar




Baking Instructions

1.    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 10-inch Bundt® or tube pan.

2.    Combine cake mix, eggs, applesauce, butter and cinnamon in large
bowl.

3.    Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in
walnuts by hand. Pour into prepared pan.

4.    Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out
clean.

5.    Cool cake on wire rack for 25 minutes. Remove cake from pan and cool
completely.

6.    Dust with Confectioner’s sugar.
