DH Apple Cinnamon Rice Crisp


Enjoy a tasty Apple Cinnamon Rice Crisp, made with Duncan Hines Comstock® or
Wilderness® More Fruit Apple Filling.

Ingredients

*       1 cup uncooked white rice
*       1 can (21 ounces)

Fruit Apple Pie Filling & Topping
*       1 cup brown sugar, divided
*       1 tsp. cinnamon
*       1/2 cup raisins
*       1/2 cup chopped walnuts
*       1 1/2 cups oats (old fashioned or quick cooking)
*       2 tbsp. butter, melted

Baking Instructions

*       Prepare rice according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Spray 2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
*       Combine rice, pie filling, ½ cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and
walnuts in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared baking dish.
*       In a small bowl, combine remaining brown sugar and rolled oats.
Blend in butter; mix well. Sprinkle over rice mixture. Bake 30 minutes.
