Hello list,

So I’ve been considering getting a pour over coffee and am contemplating
either the Hario V60 pour over coffee dripper or the Osaka pour over coffee
set up.

I was wondering if anyone’s familiar with either one and if they can comment
on the ease of using either or? I’m not a newbie when it comes to coffee.
I’ve already got a Aeropress, French press and Bonavita coffee machine and
do the whole grind and weigh thing.

I know the Hario is supposed to be what is used a lot in coffee shops for
individual pour overs, but since it’s a manual pour over and it involves
targeting the grounds with the hot water and whatnot, I don’t know if maybe
the Osaka might be more forgiving in this regard for things like spillage or
rate of seepage, etc. This would more often than not be for two cups at a
time as I’m the barista in the house and my wife prefers for me to do the
coffee.

Any input or observations would be appreciated for either one.

For reference, here’s a link to some of the more popular pour overs for 2018
including the ones mentioned above:

Thanks,

Cristobal
