24 Hour "Fruit Salad Submitted by Janice Kasten

For Salad:


2 large cans Queen Anne Cherries
2 large cans pineapple tidbits or chunks
2 cans Mandarin oranges
1 large package miniature  marshmallows
1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans
1 carton whipped cream

For Dressing:


Juice of 1 lemon
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1/2cup evaporated milk

Combine dressing ingredients and cook, in top of double boiler or over
medium-low heat, until thickened, stirring constantly.
Cool completely.
Toss with fruits which have been well drained.
At this point, all the recipes tell you to refrigerate for 1 day.
Since no one really ever does this, just proceed to the next step.
Add a half to a full cup of chopped pecans and 1 carton of whipping cream,
whipped.
Enjoy!
