It should be pretty easy to use.
What you will need to do is find someone to tell you what the buttons are, the 
default of each one, and how to change time and temp.
You won't be able to prepare large quantities at a time.
It probably won't hold more than two sweet potatoes.
High dots work wonderful for marking.
That's how we did our 8-quart.
