You can always exchange tomato products in soups for plain broth, and in the
taco soup use broth and cheese. Watch the spices though and leave out the
chili peppers and hot paprika if hot things affect your system like tomatoes
do. Sometimes you can use mushroom soup in your base as well.
Traditionalists would no longer call it the same dish, but as long as you
eat it with the same beans, rice, noodles, as the recipe calls for
otherwise, I suppose you can call it the same thing. You could also use a
cream base with yogurt or milk and cream. You have to go with what your body
can tolerate no matter how many changes you make. Don't be afraid to
experiment.

Hi everyone! I am from Canada, and I have a question about a couple of the
cooking in the dark shows. For the goulash recipe, instead of tomatoes and
tomato paste, can you use something else instead? I cannot have anything
that has acidity in it, same thing for the taco soup recipe.
