Baked Round Steak (My Mom's Recipe)
1 large round steak, trimmed and cut in 1 inch pieces 1 large onion, peeled and cut into wedges 3 potatoes, peeled and cut small (3 to 4) 2 to 3 carrots, peeled and cut in small pieces 1 large can tomatoes,blended in blender, 28 oz 1 small can tomatoes, 16 oz, blended in blender Oregano Oil Put oil, onion and meat in covered baking dish. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Blend tomatoes. Add to meat with carrots, potatoes and oregano. Cover and bake at 325 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until meat is tender and vegetable are done. Canned peas, drained, may be added. My Mom used to make this dish often.
