Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC just posted a somewhat belated update on a recent meeting held in Bahrain. Building on the model of Roundtable Meetings for Governments and Regulators that we have been employing successfully in Europe and, more recently, the CIS region, this was the first such Roundtable Meeting to be held in the Middle East, with attendees from Ministries and Regulators in the Arab countries in our service region.
Focus points in the discussion included IPv6 deployment, Internet growth trends in the region and participation in the RIPE Policy Development Process.
