Dear Working Group,

As discussed during the remote session last week, the RIPE NCC has also
developed a response to the open consultation on the draft NIS 2 Directive. Our
submission can be found here:
https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/12475-Revision-of-the-NIS-Directive/F2004629

The consultation closes today, but it’s a very positive sign to see that many
other organisations (and individuals!) from RIPE and the global Internet
technical community (including a number of the root server operators) have
responded, reinforcing the arguments made in the submissions by the RIPE NCC
and the RIPE Cooperation Working Group Co-Chairs.

All public responses can be found on the European Commission website:
https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/12475-Revision-of-the-NIS-Directive/feedback?p_id=16748318

Best regards,
Chris
