Makes sense to me. We already have a page on the wiki for this, http://wiki.cooperationcommons.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Rooms.OutreachList Folks should feel free to suggest names of invitees to contact, to update contact information for invitees already suggested, and or send the actual invite. That is, no one needs to feel they can only participate by doing all three tasks. Plenty to go around. So if you have suggestions, please to put them on this Outreach List page (link above). Also, a reminder that I've drafted a sample outreach letter, on the wiki at http://wiki.cooperationcommons.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Rooms.CommunityDevelopment. Feel free to use it, but make sure to modify it to fit the invitee. The sample assumes that part of the outreach is to inquire about the "proper" department to host the nascent Cooperation Studies curriculum. I think inviting folks to check out the intro video and opine about where the curriculum fits is a very safe and stable approach to engaging new folks. For the time being it feels, to me, a little premature to be working toward a panel discussion. My sense is that if we can get folks contributing to the wiki or this list then we're doing well. We have yet, as far as I can see, to reach anything like the self-sustaining "critical mass" that we need for this project to really take wing. We'll get there. rl --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CooperationCommons" group.
