Dear all,

I have a question regarding real-space refinement of Xylotetrose in coot.

Xylotetrose is the 4-mer of D-Xylose (XYS in the monomer library of coot). I have set-up Xylotetrose as a polymer consisting of 4 attached monomers linked by oxygen called O4 (monomer 3002) between carbon C1 (monomer 3001) and carbon C4 (monomer 3002) and
so forth.

However the program does not recognise the link between the rings and instead of refining a polymer it refines 4 separate D-xylose rings. It does not help to push the rings closer, regularisation pulls them apart.

Any suggestions?

Best Regards,
