Using Bill Scott's Fink-installed Coot (ver. 0.5.2 or 0.6-pre-1) on OS
X 10.5.6 with XQuartz 2.3.2.1, a subset of windows in Coot keep
spawning behind all of the other windows.
This happens with a variety of info boxes, Column Label Assignment
windows when opening MTZ files, a number of windows spawned from the
Extensions menu, etc,
This DOESN'T happen with File Select dialog boxes, Ramachandran plots,
Density fit analysis, Rotamer analysis, Residue info dialog boxes, etc
We've tried a number of different versions of Coot and XQuartz and
tried toggling all of the different "Windows" options under the
X11.app Prefrences menu.
Is there any way to get the windows to spawn on top of all the other
windows? It's quite frustrating to have to drag all of our windows
around (especially since Expose doesn't work for most of Coot's dialog
boxes).
