Having 64-bit coot might be worth the 10.6 upgrade if you are working on large complexes. I'm a natural-born Luddite, and only grudgingly own one horseless carriage and actually have no cell phone, and I never use the ccp4i gui.
And here I though I was the only one who wasn't using the CCP4 GUI. Although given how long 64-bit computers have been in use (DEC/Compaq/HP Alpha's were around long before I started), they feel old enough for me to be comfortable with them.
