Using Bill Scott's fink method for installing Coot on OS X, 0.6-pre-1-r2246 works with stereo on both Intel and PPC with Quadro 4500s. I don't see any reason that it wouldn't work with the 4800, but I don't have one to test, so YMMV. Quad buffered stereo on OS X seems to be a pretty niche market, since the cards are ridiculously expensive, and X11's stereo support was broken for more than a year on 10.5. If you haven't bought the card yet, I think the Zalman 3d LCD is a much better deal at this point in time. -b -- | Ben Eisenbraun | Software Sysadmin | | Structural Biology Grid | http://sbgrid.org | | Harvard Medical School | http://hms.harvard.edu |
