I would advise that you build 64 bit binaries yourself. I develop Coot
on 64 bit Ubuntu using build-it-gtk2-simple. It should just build out
the box. You may need to install these beforehand:
patch
m4
g++
libxext-dev
libxmu-dev
libxt-dev
libc6-dev
libglu1-mesa-dev
mesa-common-dev
libgtk2.0-dev
libgnomecanvas2-dev
I'm guessing that the dependencies are the same as Ubuntu.
