How about automatically selecting the non-difference map if only one such map is currently available? This will cover, imho, the vast majority of cases. If no map is loaded, or there is more than one map, the behavior could be unchanged, except that maybe the warning dialog should pop up prompting user to repeat the original request. I think what may be annoying to some in current behavior is that fraction of a second when one ponders why nothing happened. Cheers, Ed. -- Coot verendus est
