Just for clarity, that is a temporary fix.
Coot needs to be fixed - hopefully there will be a new revision in
place by the end of the day (previously I didn't know what a P-peptide
was - now I do).
Cheers,
Paul.
(For this sort of thing I recommend using "Replace Residue" rather
than "Get Monomer", tweak, renumber, merge and refine)

New versions of Coot use the new dictionary. Now PCA is defined as
P-peptide, previously it was L-peptide. Editing PCA.cif to use
L-peptides for links should do the trick.
Hope this helps,

I am currently using COOT 0.7-pre-1-831.
For some reason when I add an N' PCA residue it won't connect to the
main-chain and the real space refinement will not position it well.
Adding an N' PCA is working just fine with previous versions of COOT
(i.e. COOT 0.6).
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Ron
