Thanks for the info. You could solve this by adding to your ~/.coot file (no-coot-tips) And incidentally, I have just taken delivery of a new desktop machine and its the same as you have. So, if coot will work on anything in the future, it should work with RHEL 6 64-bit. I will try to make a distributable binary tar for 0.7 and if I can find somewhere to put it where you can get it, I will let you know. Regards, Paul.
