Dear Huw,

you might be able to narrow the problem further if you check if it
persists when you open Coot by itself rather than indirectly from any
GUIs. If it does not persist, you may want to address you problem to
the ccp4 or phenix developers.

Does it also happen with a non-self-compiled version of Coot?
