Hi,
I need help in solving this problem after I bought a brand new system, XPS13
with Ubuntu 14.04.
With some information:
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Memory: 7.3 G
Processor Intel Core i7-451OU @ 2 GHz x 4
Graphics Intel Haswell Mobile
OS type 64 bit
Disk 232.5 GB
ATA device, with non-removable media
Model Number: LITEONIT LMT-256L9M-11 MSATA 256GB
Serial Number: TW0N42H75508548R1368
Firmware Revision: HM8110B
Transport: Serial, ATA8-AST, SATA II Extensions, SATA Rev 2.6,
SATA Rev 3.0
Standards:

Supported: 8 7 6 5 & some of 8
I notice that when I load any coordinates and mtz files in coot, it becomes so
slow (eg. real space refine, or even move a residue to another a residue by
hitting the 'space' button on keyboard). Surprisingly, all my ccp4i packages,
seem to work perfectly. Pymol also work quite well.
Any comments are welcome and I hope some of you can point me out what's the
problem.
