Hi all,

when I attempt to use the segment_map function (or the Scheme equivalent) to
segment an EM-map in r5590 on either Ubuntu or mac (OS X 10.10.2), I get a
segfault (screensnap attached), apparently due to incorrect calculation of map
statistics (the min, mean, max and st dev of the map are all listed as zero in
the console output, which is obviously incorrect).

I run the function from the scripting window as segment_map(map_id,map_level),
where map_level is a float describing the contour at which to segment the map
(in absolute terms). Is this a correct reading of how the function should be
used?

You can reproduce with any map as far as I can tell, for example try EMDB-2677
at a map level of 0.1.

Incidentally, for EM-maps it would be very handy to have a function to move the
center of the unit cell to the screen center (as this is usually where the
molecule will be). I couldn't find this but maybe it already exists? Currently
I do this manually, which is fine, but I am lazy and always looking for
shortcuts for this type of thing!

Cheers,
Oliver.
