Hi Ferdinand,
This is a wild guess but I vaguely recall that under windows the sign
used for decimal matters ('.' or ',').
I am not running windows right now but I recall you can change it in
regional settings.
Have look that might be the difference between your machine and your
colleague's machine.
Cheers,
Arnaud

Dear Coot experts and kind helpers,
I use Wincoot 0.8.9 and a problem occured while merging PEG ligands
into the existing molecule of the pdb 2ozk.
When i added the ligand, then mergend and saved the coordinates, the
file was completely broken when reopening it, with aminoacids not
attached to each other. Refmac was also not possible.
I retried with the original map and pdb file and it still happened,
but a colleague tried on his windows machine and it worked perfectly
normal.
Has anybody ever experienced the same problem or an idea of what i
might be doing wrong or is not working?
Thanks and best regards,
Ferdinand
