Hi, on one of the workstations here coot version 0.8.9.1 crashes. /software/coot/0.8.9.1/bin//coot: line 284: 30682 Illegal instruction (core dumped) $coot_bin "$@" guile: error while loading shared libraries: libltdl.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
On another workstation (using the same coot install on an NFS drive) this version works. Both have RHEL 7.6 installed with Kernel 3.10.0-957.21.3.el7.x86_64 I compared the list of installed packages but could not find differences that could explain this different behavior. Only difference I see is the CPU generation. The working machine does support AVX2, the non-working not. Does coot depend on AVX2? The older version 0.8.8 does work on both machines.
