Dear Paul, Thanks a lot for your extremely fast and helpful reply. This was the information, I was looking for! I copied the template_key_bindings.py file into the ~/.coot-preferences/ folder and renamed as key_bindings.py. Now Coot is working as in your tutorial. Best regards Bernhard
