Also, I tried install it without --HEAD.

Then it led to the following message:

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GOOCANVAS_CFLAGS
and GOOCANVAS_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

I saw people having similar issues with No package 'goocanvas-2.0' found 
before, and it has been updated to use goocanvas-3.0. But I still get the same 
issue when installing.

Any idea how to fix it? Thank you!!
