Dear coot community my OS is Ubuntu 22.04 I downloaded coot-0.9.8.8-binary-Linux-x86_64-scientific-linux-7.6-python-gtk2.tar.gz <https://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/personal/pemsley/coot/binaries/release/coot-0.9.8.8-binary-Linux-x86_64-scientific-linux-7.6-python-gtk2.tar.gz> to try and use the precompiled binary.
When I run it, it complains of lacking several modules and libraries, which I've been downloading (or linking) one by one (e.g. Canberra GTK module, libpng15.so.15, libssl.so.10, libcrypto.so.10, libldap-2.4.so.2, liblber-2.4.so.2, libgssapi.so.3) Two questions: 1- is there a smarter way to identify all the missing libraries I would need for coot to work? (perhaps I'm choosing the wrong tarball to start with?) 2- I stumbled upon this lib " libheimntlm.so.0 ", which I can't seem to be able to find anywhere. Any help is much appreciated! best, Alejandro ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the COOT list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=COOT&A=1 This message was issued to members of www.jiscmail.ac.uk/COOT, a mailing list hosted by www.jiscmail.ac.uk, terms & conditions are available at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/
