Oggetto: map fan phan in coot 0.9 and coot 1

Hi Lucrezia and Paul,

I have a question: when we fetch PDB and map files using PDB-REDO, we sometimes
get three maps — the Fo-Fc map, the 2Fo-Fc map, and occasionally another one
called a "fan phan" map. However, this third map only appears for certain
structures, like 6OC6.

Do you know what this map is and what kind of information it provides?

Thanks in advance!
Best,
Leticia LL
