Converting a 3rd-party GUI for Coot 1.1 is non-trivial. It seems to me that it would be just as easy to rewrite it from scratch (or that ballpark).
This is what I was using: https://github.com/Taiko2k/GTK4PythonTutorialI recognised that there would be some effort needed on the part of people such as yourself. So I decided to help out by creating a json file format that allows you to direct Coot to go to particular entities (and potentially give the user a button to press to help resolve the issue). I have attached an example.
Maybe that will be what you need. Maybe not of course. It depends on the details.
