I am switching slowly from 0.9 to 1.xx.
On my macs (running still sequoia) 1.19 does not show symmetry mates.
In the terminal I get the info that there is no sym info : "WARNING:: No
Symmetry for this model"
Scripting/Python /
import coot
coot.show_spacegroup(0) gives
"INFO:: spacegroup: No spacegroup "
I also had a try (as described a previous post from Lionel in Sept 2025
regarding sym problems in linux 1.15) to set SYMINFO. But this didn't
help either.
Any idea?

On my linux box 1.20 is running nicely. I get symmetry as sphere. How
can I show symmetry molecules as CA ?
