On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to
submit your research work to *CICITE 2026 – Challenges and the Impact of
Communication and Information Technologies on Education*, a
multidisciplinary workshop organized within the framework of *ARTIIS 2026 –
International Conference on Advanced Research in Technologies, Information,
Innovation and Sustainability*.

CICITE 2026 will take place in *Lisbon, Portugal, from November 11 to 13,
2026*.

The workshop focuses on the challenges, transformations, and impacts of
communication and information technologies in education. It provides a
space for researchers, educators, practitioners, and professionals to
discuss how digital technologies are reshaping teaching, learning,
assessment, inclusion, academic integrity, and educational management.

We welcome original research papers, applied studies, conceptual
contributions, case studies, and technological proposals related, but not
limited, to the following topics:

   - Impact and evolution of education in digital contexts
   - Hybrid, online, blended, and traditional learning models
   - Information and Communication Technologies in education
   - Artificial Intelligence and intelligent systems in education
   - Internet of Things and smart learning environments
   - Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in learning
   - Blockchain for certification and academic integrity
   - Big Data and Learning Analytics for personalized education
   - 5G and remote or mobile learning
   - Virtual and remote laboratories
   - Educational games, gamification, and simulators
   - Chatbots and virtual assistants for student support
   - Ethical challenges of AI and information technology in education
   - Cybersecurity and data privacy in digital learning environments
   - Digital well-being, screen time, and mental health in online learning
   - Inclusive technologies and accessibility for students with disabilities
   - Sustainability and Green IT in education
   - Social media, student engagement, and learning

Accepted papers will be included in the official ARTIIS 2026 proceedings,
published by *Springer, Cham*, in the *Communications in Computer and
Information Science series (CCIS)*, subject to the conference publication
procedures.
