Another approach would be to add an open() method, and use SequenceFile.Writer
setter methods, e.g.:
SequenceFile.Writer writer = SequenceFile.createWriter(path);
writer.setCompressionType(Compress.BLOCK);
writer.setBlockSize(128*1024*1024);
writer.open();
