What use cases are there for filesystem-internal symlinks? The really
interesting use cases are cross-filesytem, since that could make archives
transparent, and also permit a volume-monting-like style, permitting a single
namespace to span multiple clusters, potentially making the namenode less of a
bottleneck.
Without some strong use cases I'm -1 for any implementation that does not
support cross-filesystem links.
