Andrew, Thanks for providing some context! This resonated well with my 15 years experience Java enterprise development. Just to clarify: My goal with this effort is not to speed up Spring Petclinic. It is to improve life for the larger Java ecosystem as described by Andrew. So while advice on how to speed up Spring Petclinic is nice, it does kind of miss the point. Cheers, Eirik.
