Greetings all, I write in hope of advancing a PR I have to fix a regression from a few JDK releases ago: https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/pull/24694 I received some useful feedback in late 2025, which I've incorporated. There was some question of needing the views of a security team, but I have no visibility into the process as an external contributor.
