A quick update, with the hope it may help other Audio Unit developers: our plug-ins are still built with the 10.5 SDK - so they are "old style" Audio Units - and yet *they all successfully validate under El Capitan* and run smoothly in Logic PRO X on this system: no issue so far.

Of course you get the "deprecated API" warning in the logs, but it does not fail the validation. So I guess the problems you are encountering come from something else: there is probably no need to waste your time trying to migrate to new-style AUs right now. It looks like we can keep supporting 6 versions of OSX for some time...

By the way, *please do not remove the Rez file* from your AUs as this will break several hosts (and among them the Blue Cat PatchWork and MB-7 Mixer hosts, which are still running on 10.5 and cannot use the new components manager). If you want to verify compatibility in the future, feel free to contact me to get a NFR.
