Audio Unit PSA: AUValidation in the latest macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 adds a new optional stress test feature that will run your AU through a multi-threaded torture test. It can be quite useful for drawing out thread-safety and race condition bugs. It is not enabled by default (so hosts that require passing validation won't suddenly be disabling your AUs), but is worth enabling for your internal development testing, in my opinion.
