We are experiencing some problems with the products I developed for
other companies. Mainly asynchronous USB dacs and a number of other
companies are complaining as well.
I am going to purchase one and work on that problem as well.
Sam I am going to forward the number onto my contacts there and then
file a # for the distorted audio over that model when I get my hands on one.

Sorry for my late reply. I’m currently attending a show with tight schedule.
Brian, Gordon, I plugged a device in the thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) connector of a
MacBook Pro and everything looks normal. Gain max is at 0dB and the recording
seems fine with both garageband or audacity softwares.
Sam, for now I have tested the Apple Recorder app and the Superpowered SDK on
iOS. Both gave the same results: USB devices are detected as
headphones/headsets and initial input gain is high (+29dB).
The radar ID is 48900956.
I will do the sysdiagnose as soon as I can.
