I've been back through the archives and don't think I can find anything about these outstanding questions I have, so I hope someone on here might be able to shed some light on some of them.

I'm using COREBlog2 on Plone 2.1.1 on Zope 2.8.5 on Debian Woody under Python 2.3.5 for reference

1. Trackback Base URL. I can't seem to work out what this is for or what should appear there.

My site is at http://www.oclt.org.uk/ and in the root folder I have a Plone TeamSpace called "OCLT Committee" with a short title of "committee" and in there I have put a COREBlog2 blog that I would like all members of the team to be able to contribute to and the public to be able to read. So, I think the path to my blog's entry point is http://www.oclt.org.uk/committee/the-oclt-blog/

If I put something in the Trackback Base URL it breaks my skin by the way because the long URL that then appears under each Blog entry forces it out of its table confines, but I guess I need to edit something in the Page Template to solve that one?

2. Using it with ECTO. I use ecto to post to my Blogger personal blogs, but cannot work out what I need to put in where to get it to work with my CoreBlog2 blog. Particularly what API to use and what the "Access Popint" is. Whatever I try I get an error in ecto saying that it cannot find something like "http://www.oclt.org.uk/committee/ the-oclt-blog/blogger".

3. Can I control the portlets?

Hope someone can help. It looks great and something I've been wanting to do in Plone for a long while, but it's next to useless if I can't get ecto and so on working with it.
