OK, Reese, I'm kind of scared to try to push you this path. I don't think you have a SPI programmer if things go wrong.
I think it would make more sense if we solve the problem of "Why does the kernel schedule a VM onto a core that can't do it?" I've made some pretty good progress here ... can I interest you in some kernel hacking instead?
