If UEFI, this USB will NOT work for Coreboot + SeaBIOS. If Legacy, then I have no idea why it does not work (it should)!? If UEFI, then you might reconsider https://rufus.akeo.ie/ (5 minutes job to create Legacy bootable USB): [1] Partition scheme MBR used on BIOS; [2] File System probably FAT32 (should work).
