Hello Coreutils admins I have code changes I would like to suubmit to coreutils. I've followed the instructions for assigning the FSF copyright here:
https://cgit.git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/coreutils.git/tree/HACKING The instructions said to email [email protected] with my name as the subject line, and fill out this form: https://www.gnu.org/software/gnulib/Copyright/request-assign.future I did this on August 20th 2026, but have not heard anything back, nor have I received a physical form to sign in the mail. I also emailed [email protected] and didn't get a meaningful response. Lastly, I tried asking on the #fsf-licensing IRC channel, and was told to contact [email protected]. Is the FSF copyright assignment still needed for submitting large patches to coreutils? Thanks Tony Hutter
