First, thank you for your interest in working on coreutils and for
following the assignment process.
The assignment is required for large patches. If you are in the US,
which I assume is the case based on your email address, you can use a
GPG signature instead of physical mail, which is easier, in my opinion.
It is possible your email just needs a ping to move them forward.
Pádraig, do you think you could email [email protected] with Tony
in CC, requesting the status of his assignment?
